We have been very lucky to host our amazing guests. We feel their words capture best the advantages Corte Spinata offers. You can read all the other - equally glowing – reviews already published on the VRBO / FEWO / ABRITEL / EXPEDIA / STAYZ / BOOKBACH website in different languages.

Among the guests who came to Corte Spinata from more distant places: Montreal  (CANADA), ( Illinois ) U.S.A, Sydney (AUSTRALIA) in different periods from 2018 (when we opened) testify to our long-lasting commitment.

The Bianchini family emigrated to Sydney, Australia and their descendants  often return to spend holidays in Corte Spinata. And so Therese B. and Ross P. (Sydney, Australia, September 2023) left us this message, which we are pleased to quote word for word:

“What a peaceful place tucked away in the small village of Melara. You can sit back and read a book, enjoy the beautiful surroundings and peace and quiet. Do as little as you want or as much as you want. A train trip to Ferrara, Bologna, or Verona,( Just to name a few) are closer than you think. This is the perfect place to get back to basics. You can stay in the Elena apartment, as we did. It sleeps 2pp and is very comfortable.  Air conditioned for those very hot days and a washing machine that came in very handy. There is also an apartment for 4pp (Luisa) which is larger, and also shares the tranquility of the garden. An afternoon siesta amongst the olive trees is a must. A short drive away you will find cafes and restaurants, supermarkets and produce markets with a wide range of fruit and vegetables. Valerio was an outstanding host and will make you feel very welcome. His English helped us to understand our surroundings. He gave us the run down on the history of Corte Spinata and also gave us a private tour of Verona. You will be made to feel very welcome and given plenty of information to help you plan your stay. Our five days spent here definitely wasn't long enough, give yourself at least a week to discover the hidden gem this place really is.“

In addition to this one above, we have  received many wonderful reviews from guests who have come from far away – like Joyce and Frank (September 2023), from ILLINOIS (U.S.A.):

“We had a wonderful time at Corte Spinata. The host was incredible and very accommodating. He provided so many options to enjoy his property and the area. He even gave us a private tour of Verona. Also, he let us know about the cheese factory (Grana Padano cheese) tour that you must do while there. The facility is incredible with a tour guide that is very knowledgeable. You will be amazed! His accommodations are so quaint and quiet. You get the real experience of staying on a farm. We had an amazing time and would recommend this place to everyone especially to the people in the United States who may be looking for a real Italian experience. You will have an amazing time.“

F. and Jean P. (October 2018) review from Montreal (CANADA)  :

“Grande maison lumineuse et au calme. Si vous aimez la campagne, la tranquillité et le grand air , cette maison est pour vous. Le propriétaire est accueillant et avait préparé beaucoup de documentation pour faciliter notre séjour dans la région. Cette maison est situé près de plusieurs villes d'intérêt et d'une piste cyclable. Une gare se trouve à 10 km et permet de se rendre facilement à Bologne, Vérone et Venise.“
